Abstract
The heat pump is the technology which enables to use renewable energy resources. We can judge about the usage of this technology from the coefficient of performance (COP). It is usually defined according to standard conditions. In this research the actual COP is calculated using thermodynamic analysis method, also performing physical measures of temperatures and pressures of realistically operating thermal pump. This coefficient is analyzed during various characteristic periods of the heating season. The prevailing COP meaning is 3.7-3.9.
