Interwar Period Rural and Suburban Dwelling-House Architecture in Kaunas County

Abstract
The paper analyzes the interwar period architecture of rural houses in Kaunas County, their types and exterior. The aim of the research is to analyze the rural dwelling-house architecture during the interwar period in Kaunas County by distinguishing the characteristic types of such rural houses and identifying their prevalence; also analyze the basic factors that influenced the architecture, plan structure, innovations and continuity of the building tradition of the rural living houses.
