The Analysis of Ease of Doing Business Assessment Methods
Mindaugas Samoška
Abstract
The study deals with the ease of doing business assessment models. Analysed models describe conditions for doing business in a certain country that is being ranked and evaluated. However obvious need for improvement in methodology accrues while analysing five most known models in a comparative way. Different data aggregation principles differ the results (quantative and qualitive methods of aggregation) despite the factors that are evaluated in both models and are quite similar. After analysing all five methods we state critics about them and insights for possible improvement.
