The Lack of Holistic Approach in the Problematic of Lithuanian Heritage Protection in the Beginning of the 20th

Abstract


Article aims to attract the attention towards obvious problematic sector of protection of immovable heritage of Lithuania, and underlines shortage in dealing with those problems from the position of integral, multi level, comprehensive- holistic approach.
Paper underlines the need to use the last chance in possible takeover from still alive national traditions in the survived immovable heritage sector. The author tries to name the range of the means for the strategic actions of the existing system in fields of guidelines for planning / projection / alteration of the near future of it. Along to cases of the good practice in other countries, some unused legislative and organisational moments andc opportunities has been pointed out as background for the change.
