Quantities of Sediments Collected at Storm Water Runoff Treatment Plants and Their Future Dynamics

Abstract


Increasing number of storm water treatment plants increases of the amount of accumulated sediments sludge. The sediments can be polluted with considerable amounts of heavy metals, TPH and others pollutants. Annually from four Vilnius city storm water runoff treatments plants there are accumulated about 700 m3 sediments sludge, there could be accumulated about 75600 m3 sediments till 2025 years.
