Global Competitiveness of Exporting Business: the Case Study of Lithuania

Abstract
The article aims to study global competitiveness of exporting business of Lithuania. In the article theoretical aspects of international trade challenges and global competitiveness of exporting business, international trade tendencies in Lithuania in the period of 2004–2013 are studied, Lithuanian structure of international trade in 2008–2013, Lithuanian international trade partners in 2013 are explored, global competitiveness of Lithuania is evaluated. The results of research indicates that it is important to achieve global competitiveness of Lithuanian exporting companies in order to prepare international trade specialists properly. Highly educated and appropriately qualified people could be the main factor for the development of exports of high valueadded products and services of Lithuania.
