Abstract
The article analyses three-component fuel consisting of diesel–biodiesel–propanol mixture used in the diesel engine. The choice of fuel combinations was as follows: 20% of diesel, 70% of biodiesel (RME basis) and 10% of propanol while the second mixture contained 20% of diesel, 60% of biodiesel (RME basis) and 20% of propanol. Test results show that the mixture having more propanol has better emission rates in about 20%; however, the maximum load value of the mixture is 4% less.
