An Analysis of Integrated Project Delivery Method in Inplementation of Public Projects

Abstract


More and more project development companies in the world and Lithuania are trying to create higher quality projects, more accurate calculations, save time and do not exceed budget of the construction. Using IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) methods together projects delivery processes become faster and better quality. All of this allows efficient delivery of the projects and also to save time, project budget, because during construction period to correct mistakes and to make new decisions costs a lot and most importantly it has a direct impact on project deadlines. Therefore, this article will be about traditional projects and integrated project delivery methodology, where real projects will be analyzed in both methods. At the end the evaluation of twelve projects implementation for further investor decision.
